Evenline

Evenline focuses on bringing science, art, engineering and design together. Sometimes an art project emerges from their research and other times a design concept forms the foundation for a science paper. All of Evenline's designs start in digital space and end as glass. 

These objects were made with Evenline’s Mark III molten Glass 3D Printer. 2000 degree Fahrenheit molten glass flows out through a nozzle in the printer. In concert, the machine moves around in x, y and z tracing out the shape of the object in three dimensional space. Each finished object is a single bead of glass formed in this way.
